| It's Showtime, Folks! We're located on the northwest corner of Guard Street & Tucker Avenue in Friday Harbor (the historic Pig War Museum) |
The San Juan Benefit Players Performances are getting RAVE REVIEWS from newspapers and those who have attended our shows. As mentioned in the San Juan Journal, referring to the Performing Arts Society: “The glow of those classical instruments against the black curtains and apparel of the musicians foretold the brilliance of the performance which followed.”

- Admission to any performance is by donation ($10, $25, $50, whatever you can afford to contribute).
- We use flexible, festival-style seating. We do not print hard tickets, and we cannot take reservations. The sage advice is, if you want to be guaranteed a seat, arrive early.
- The theatre seats approximately 70 patrons. Doors to the theatre usually open 30 minutes before curtain.
- Limited parking is available in front of the theatre, as well as along the north side of Tucker Avenue and on Guard Street, and in the high school parking lot is less than one block from the theatre.

| Our Goal:
The Benefit Players plan to produce 4-5 plays each year, as well as other events, that will generate financial support for charitable and educational causes in the community. Recent performances have included Samuel Beckett's "EndGame" directed by Ed Strum and the musical "The Fantasticks" directed by Ed Wilson. In January 2007, the Performing Arts Society began a once-a-month concert series in our theatre. Performances have included Ballet Folklorico Monarca di Friday Harbor and Puget Sound Concert Opera performing "Il Trovatore." This series aims to present classical performances by islanders for islanders, to encourage one another in our art.

bringing snack foods for hospitality at events -- volunteers to
distribute event posters around town, and could someone please help us
figure out how to light our parking lot entrance on show nights so that
we're easier to find? To become a volunteer, please call (360) 370-5560 or e-mail us and we'll get you started right away!
