Volunteers are always needed at the Benefit Players. We are a 100% volunteer organization and Benefit Players would not be able to stage its diverse program of theatrical and musical events if it were not for the help of our wonderful band of tireless volunteers. Benefit Players need some basic building and theatrical materials that we hope will be contributed. We are happy to provide a receipt for the value of in-kind contributions for tax purposes.
Electronics:
- Lighting elements
- Light board
- Sound board
- Cables
- Basic sound effects: doorbells, phone, etc.
- Speakers
- Any electrical or lighting related item
- Light bulbs - any type
Construction materials:
- Plywood
- Door skins
- 2x4s, 2x6s, 2x8s, 1x6s
- Water based latex paints
- Paint pans, rollers, rags
- Miscellaneous general hardware (screws, nails)
- Basic tools (electric drill, table saw, hammer, saw horse, screw gun)
- Large shop vac
- Carpet steamer
Makeup materials: - Narrow tables or counters
- Vanity lights
- Basic makeup (foundation, blush, lip and eye treatments)
- Makeup brushes and sponges
- Lamps
